Why not, they own Bugatti and Lambo and other high end auto brands. It might even help Duacti out with funding for more R&D and even cooler bikes......

Seems logical as VW is now the largest auto maker in the world. Yet I hope they don't suck it dry and leaving Ducati hanging like others have.

I've heard that as well. Also I heard the steering wheel from the Audi R8 is a Lambo steering wheel.
