OK so I brought my car to the dealership to fix a few things.... one of the things they had to do was take off the belt and other things to get at a part...which I know they had too bc I have a book on fixing it......anyways the day after it was fixed the battery light came on and a whistling noise started....I drove to the store and back home...went to drive it the next day and its dead....
Tuesday they came and jumped it...got it back to the dealer to see what was wrong and they said the battery was done and so was the alternator....battery is under warranty but I have to pay for the alternator to get fixed....
I just bought the car in March and got them to check out the car to see if everything was working fine and what needed to be fixed and my battery and alternator were working fine
what I want to know is...is what they are doing acceptable and is it up to me to pay to get the alternator fixed or bc they fucked it up....they should pay and fix it?
