VSC light flashed on in my lexus what does that mean? ?

I couldn't unlock or lock the doors with my key. I had to manually open the door to with the key in order for it to open. I went to start my car and it wouldn't turn on. The only light that came on was 'VSC." I'm not sure what that means.

Is my car out of batteries?
 
well, VSC is your stability control. Your KEY might be out of battery but as long as the car starts fine your cars battery should be alright.

Ask your local dealership they should be able to get you the battery for your key.
