VP Debate moderator is writing Obama Book, Why?? ?

Why was this "impartial" moderator choosen ?
Does she want Obama/Biden to win for book sales?
 
The McCain people knew about the book before they agreed to Ifill as moderator. And she is a respected journalist. Just because she is writing a book which deal with Barack Obama as well as other black politicians, does not mean that she is biased in his favor. And even if she privately supports Obama, there is no reason to assume that she cannot do her job as a debate moderator.
 
Well since shes black, statistically its a good chance shes an obama supporter. A 95% chance actually... if you believe the polls.
 
There is an article written about this that will help in answering your questions. I think it will then be up to each individual to decide. I think it would have been better to have someone without even "perceived" conflict of interest, altho like McCain I feel she will be unbiased tomorrow night just as she has always been in the past.

now just because she wrote a book about obama doesn't mean she wont be impartial when she moderates.
 
yeah i dont like this at all but i am confindent that palin will rise to the battle and win...
 
Obama is only a ~very small~ part of her book. It is not a book just on Obama. McCon's campaign is manipulating the masses again by misleading people into thinking it is something it is not.
 
She WROTE a book about black politicians in the US....Colin Powell is also in it and he's republican, along with 5 other repubs she talks about in the book. Please don't buy all this spin being put out by the McCain camp.

And furthermore, Gwen Ifell is a consummate professional and was the moderator for the 2004 VP debate. She will not be biased in the least.
