Three candidates, C, H, and M, are running for president of a club. After the polls close, votes are tallied and the following results are obtained

C = 1337, H = 3117, M = 3103

a. What is the exact margin of victory for the run-off election?

b. Suppose the front runner really want the job! Assuming no one abandons their allegiances in the first vote, what is the minimum number of votes he must gain from the eliminated candidate's supporters to guarantee a win?
