I had to do a laxative prep last night for an IVP this morning, I expected the diarrhea, but it also went on to cause stomach pain, nausea, indigestion, vomitting blood & green (grass color) vomit. Can the vomit be tested for blood, I put it in a bowl, because I am going to roll over and die before I let them lavage me. Could I be dehydrated where it's green? It's not a lot of blood, probably not even a half a teaspoon.

I'm the one that had a previous post of a dental infection (need root canal) and been taking aspirin and ibuprofen for pain. (tummy problems: Gerd, Esophagitis, gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome, diverculitis, stomach ulcer, gastroperisis). I told the dentist I'm not supposed to take that stuff. I called them back and told them it was making me sick, then he turns around and prescribes it, I called my gastroenterologist so I could get a letter saying I cannot take that stuff, no one calls back.

Green vomit typically means bile, which is supposed to be in your duodenum, not your stomach.

Yeah, I figured it was bile. I got dehydrated too, I know I was because my mouth got really dry and sticky, and everytime I'd get up, I'd get lightheaded, and I kept getting pressure in my ears, it's better today but I'm still lightheaded a bit. That was one rough test. I had it done about 5 yrs ago and it didn't hurt me. Will the dehydration just pass without problem? I didn't call my doctor over that today, I didn't get the chance. I was told to go to the ER over vomitting blood & that green stuff but the guy I live (my kiRAB dad) with wouldn't let me use the truck. I guess he's getting sick of me using his vehicle for doctor appts.
