Volume Button on Blackberry Bold 9000 not working!?

Okay so the buttons for volume on my Blackberry Bold are not working. I'm pretty sure that they go UP but turning the volume down doesn't work. I was listening to a song in media and tried to turn it down because it's really loud and it won't work.

Is there any way that I can turn the volume up/down in media without using the buttons on the right hand side???
