Volleyball workout help for having a very close arm platform?

Well I have a very important role in my volleyball position which is the middle back passer. I really want to improve and I saw this video where this guy had his platform with both arms stick together from the elbow.

When I have my digging position. My arms aren't stick together like the guys in this video. he said something about having arm flexibility so you can have a platform without any holes. Do you know a workout that can assure me in having that kind of platform?
