voice aid on the nokia e71x?

how do i use the voice aid on the new nokia e71x. my mom is almost totally blind and i was told at the at&t store that this phone had voice aid. my moms old phone had voice aid and it would read the text on the screen. it was used for accessing menus and browsing contacts. if this phone doesnt have voice aid could you tell me how to get it or what phones would have it? thanks in advance
