vodafone signal on contract iphone 5?

Hi I'm sort of confused on what to do,recently took out contract with vodafone and have been with them less than 7days. My3g signal isn't very good at home ,now I was thinking of moving to o2 but I also haven't tried them before. How will I know if their signal is better?

I have to cancel my contract by next week if I'm not happy with it,but how do I check if o2 coverage is better? It says that I should have good signal, though that was not true for voda?

Any ideas?
