Reason i am asking is due to poor internet connection/coverage from around major area's of Melbourne. The City, even places where it says new 850mhz coverage(completed) on the Vodafone coverage map on their website i get pretty slow Internet, yet i am running Telstra on another phone and I get way faster data speeds and can load the internet. Both phones are iphones, so i know they both support 850mhz. does anyone else have problems with the new vodafone 850mhz data speeds? when i call them i keep being told they are still upgrading their network, but in some areas(where its completed) i still get slow connection. Why is this and does anybody else still suffer from Vodafail even with the new 850mhz coverage. Its a shame because the unlimited vodafone plans are just soo great.
Vodafone NEW 850mhz, Melbourne. Is it on par/as good as Telstra's 850 or not?
