Last year I got a contract phone with Vodafone at Carphone Warehouse, Loved it at first but I got pregnant and realised having a contract phone is a luxury and deffantly isnt affordable now having a child, Was a big wake up call and felt so stupid getting a contract with a phone but really didnt realise i would become pregnant. Anyways.....My close friend last week offered to have my contract phone of me and i told her I need her direct debit details and house address details and she said " Yeah i'll give them to you tommorow" but recently shes been avoiding me and then when i do get in touch with her she makes excuses up that shes busy and will do it tommorow but she has my phone and is still in MY name and the longer she has it i could get in more debt, I've been stressing about it and I will ring Vodafone tommorow and see what they say but I would like some advice as soon as possible of anymore to carm myself down. I know i shouldnt of given her my phone straight away until she gave me her details first I just really wanted to get rid of it and really thought she would of done it straight away but she keeps saying shes busy, I do know where she lives but I didnt know if I could just give her house address to vodafone over the phone and say to vodafone " can you get the direct debit details of her yourself because shes avoiding me".
The bill this month is due and because its still in my name they keep sending me letters...I'm getting scared, Ive never been in debt before and i really know now to never get a contract again.
