Vodafone bill double expected cost?

I have just been onto my Vodafone account for the first time, and I have only had my new phone a few weeks. I thought I'd check my bills as you do, and then it says my bill is £46...? What!? I'm meant to have it at £20 a month.. I've used up all my mobile internet (500MB), barely used and calls or texts. So why are they charging me this amount? How do I find out what they have charged me for? Thanks
