Vodafone Australia PUK code?

heres the problem, my phone got blocked and i lost the booklet which contained my PUK code in it, I've tried the vodafone website which tells me to register with my vodafone but to do thins you need to be able to receive a text to your phone which i cant do coz mines locked. i then ring up vodafone and they ask for a verification code which i dont have (and believe is with my PUK code) how then in any way do i get a new or retrieve my old PUK code

heres the problem. I have an Australian sim card and I am in New Zealand right now. I updated my phone last week Friday so my phone can work faster and better. After the update was complete. My phone asked for an puk code which I dont have. How can I get amy puk code?
