Vodafone 541 question.?

I've had vodafone 541 for nearly a year now, and I noticed just today when I picked up my phone there was a funny little icon at the top that I had never seen before. It's where you would usually have like an icon telling you bluetooth was on or your phone is on silent or something. It's a little speech bubble that is colour ed in grey. Nothing else seems to be different about my phone, I was just wondering what it means and how maybe to get rid of it?
