Vodafone 360 how does it work?

I have recently bought a Vodafone Samsung H1 360, and I have a few questions about it, for example the app shop...

Do I have to pay to download apps while I'm connected to my own internet with WiFi?

Also, is it possible to download files through the intenet using my phone, form websites such as megaupload?
