A friend of mine told me that I am able to watch Greek TV channels. The steps they gave me are the following although they use a PC:
"Ok, open VLC player and then go to MEDIA, then Services Discovery, then SAP announcements. After you do that, click on one of the buttons at the bottom that says show playlist when you run the mouse over it. The playlist will pop out, then click on SAP announcements and a list will appear on the right. Scroll down until you see GRnet and click on it. A list of all the available Greek channels will appear. Double click on the one you want to watch."
I just can't seem to get any listings under Network Streams (SAP)
I opened VLC. Then I went to Window>Playlist
I have expanded the node for Network Streams (SAP) but nothing appears underneath it. I have right clicked on it and chosen Fetch Meta Data but still nothing.
I assume that I don't have a program interfering with my computer seeing as I just purchased my new iMac 3 days ago....I've only installed VLC, Firefox, Openoffice and Skype
Anyone to help PLEASEEE!!!
This is the GRnet TV site: http://iptv.grnet.gr/unicast/instructions_en.php
If anyone can get it to work, please tell me the steps you followed!!
I'm currently using OSX 10.6.4 and VLC version 1.1.3
