Viz Rereleases Naruto Part 1 in new Boxsets

The new sets are twice the running time of the previous sets, so these new sets are 26 eps rather than the 13.

Also it is rumored that Shippuden boxsets are coming early next year

For those who complained about the single discs, maybe Viz realized that when the news of Shippuden coming out on DVD, that the fans would rather buy boxsets.

The Shippuden volumes are coming out pretty fast, so Boxsets will be pretty quick as well, it seems.

According to the picture they'll keep the original disc count of 6 (3 discs for original box 1 and 3 for box 2)

my guess is that this will be new packaging, cheaper price, same discs/disc count.

Although with the way they forced digital transition you'd think they'd give everyone a free BR player.

Given this relatively good deal, I may actually buy the Naruto anime at some point. But probably not.
