It said the drivers are not verisigned or some bs and it blocks a bunch of kernels and dll files from installing. how do i turn down the security?

Vista won't let me install my motherboard support cd...

That disc probably doesn't have Vista compatible drivers. You can't just use the 2000/XP drivers with Vista, it's totally different. Download the latest ones if they are available, if they aren't then use Windows Update.

I never use drivers off a CD anyway, they're usually outdated
Unless of course it's for a non-native network card and I don't have another machine to download anything with.
