vista media player 11 not burning CD?

ok i put cd in tray it goes in i press burn then up comes up saying put in disc which is already in there!! also near the volume control it says burned completed so i press burn again then i get the media player going white, and the circle going around the small one which vista use to load or sea ch..and top right where it says media player it says not responding .. if i press Esc it come back but still says put in disc?/ which is already in!! the music playing all through this no problem it plays pre recorded stuff ok, and my flash memory works ok it just will not burn , ans says no disc when there is a disc in drive i have tried to down load drivers, and i have looked to down load vista 11 which one can not do cos all u get is companies trying to rip u off selling their disc cleaners
