Basically I was trying to watch a film online a few days ago and for it to play this box came up where you had to allow it to run and my computer advised me not to run it but sometimes it does that to safe applications so I thought it would be okay. Ever since then I keep getting popups and also when I click on websites they get redirected to other websites. Also, sometimes the pop ups don't even appear but in my history there are loads of websites I haven't been on. Loads of them seem to originate from ad.harrenmedia.com. My antivirus software is out of date cos my dad hasn't got a new one yet.
Is there anything I can do to get rid of this virus/the pop ups?
