My girlfriend and I were thinking about possibly having sex and we want to make sure that if we do and by some chance one of our parents decides to press charges that no jail time could be the result of it. So I'm 15 and she is 17, so through some research I found a law stating that sex with a child between ages 13 and 15 when the actor is a minor and the victim is less than three years younger is punishable by a $250 fine
Do me and my girlfriend fall under these circumstances?
Are there more laws?
