In my political theory class we are learning about Virgina Held's Non-Contractual Approach. In my professor's notes he wrote that it:

Questions wisdom of heavy-emphasis on rationality
-Social Contract approach assumes rational actors
-Rational calculators; self-sufficient
*Homoeconomicus
*Taken to be human nature

What does this mean?
