I want to get the new BlackBerry 9900 on one of these providers. Virgin's plans seem to take a slight lead because they have free minutes after 7pm (and in some plans, 6pm) while Rogers is only after 9pm which is practically useless. However, I want to make sure Virgin has SIM cards like Rogers and Fido, to change contacts in the inevitability of me getting a new phone. So, do they have SIM cards?
Also, how do their signal/reception compare? Virgin uses Bell's network if I'm not mistaken, which is CDMA while Rogers is GSM. Is there a signal difference and who would give me better reception in more places?
I live in Toronto so I know my signal should be good in most places anyway but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Thanks! Yea, especially because I live in a major city, I'm not too worried about reception but my dad was going on about Virgin being on some old network which may be a problem. He also doubted it has a SIM card because it is with Bell... Can somebody please tell me if they do?
