I have been a virgin media customer for years (since NTL) and have always been on the 2mb broadband through the set top box.
I received a letter to say I am eligible for a free upgrade to 10mb but I need to use the VirginMedia modem for access. I have now received this through the post but cannot figure out how to connect it. I only have only 'cable' into the house, but this plugs into the set top box. How do I connect the modem? I can only assume I would need a splitter to share the single cable between both?
I just contacted Virgin Media and yes, it does need a splitter. Thanks
