I am moving to a new build where there is a BT line but is not yet connected and BT want to charge £122 to connect. I then went with Virgin Media and went through and processed the order. I got an email to advise that the phone will be activated on 30 September either by doing it their end or sending out an engineer. I have a feeling they will send out an engineer however this is not clear. If they do, do you know what they will do because everyone I speak to at Virgin has no idea! Will they be installing any cables? New landlord does not want them to alter the property in any way. Thanks in advance.
