Was thinking of buy the Mrs a new Airblade for Xmas but am now leaning toward the Yamaha Nouvo 135. She has an Attila to get around town on, so this bike will be more for touring. Anyone got one? How does it compare with the other bikes in its class, and how much did you pay for it?
She's got an Attila that she absolutely adores however it is 5 years old and although she keeps it in superb order I think its approaching its use by date. I bought myself a Honda Future Neo F1 and am underwhelmed by its power. I'm being passed on the road by the older models that aren't fuel injected. Was thinking of buying her the Airblade but Viet friends are telling me to buy the Thailand model not the one produced in Vietnam. A few weeks ago a young guy who works at a hotel in HCMC was singing the praises of the latest Nouvo. He said its quite a bike. I'll have the Attila completely overhauled and she can use it around town and I'll buy her this Limited Edition Nouvo for touring. When I say touring, 200-250 ks a day is all we do when we're riding anywhere. That's plenty for us and we enjoy the stopovers.
