Video Playback - File too large!!

I copied an .avi video onto my 1gig memory card and put in my TX but it wont play. It says the file maybe too big, its about 127mb. I have some music videos on there and they play fine (about 40-50mb each).

Looking at the support forum it says it supports .avi files but should i convert the file to an .mpeg?

And if I do need to, is there any recommended software?

Are you using the built in player on the T|X? Perhaps that doesn't like it.

Be sure to be using TCPMP. It's free and the best video player for Palm OS.

Dont worry, use TCPMP and you'll be fine.
I use it to play a 450MB AVI file
