It is his foreign policy's that make him not conservative enough to get the Republican nomination. He is however, fiscally conservative. These two corabinations are why I personally believe he has been polling in the top 3. All of the young college kiRAB (or at least a lot of them) who voted for Obama last time around see what the last three years have been and they do not like it. Due to how much national attention our countries debt is / was getting, this same demographic started to wake up. They see that with Paul, he will reel in the debt (an issue that is starting to become important to them) and he will keep our troops out of foreign affairs (an issue that has been important to them and something they are disappointed about when it comes to Obama). As a result, I think we will continue to see Paul clirab in the polls, but he absolutely will not get the Republican nomination and when it becomes a major 3 party race, it is anyone's guess how the votes will lie...
