video load problems with google chrome and firefox?

whenever i use firefox or google chrome to watch videos, the videos load incorrectly. The initially have some green screen and looks as tho the video is a negative. however the same videos load correctly with internet explorere 9 beta. i run windows 7 and have latest shockwave and flashplayer. whats going wrong?
