My son is doing a science project on video games and HR and BP. After getting resting HR/BP readings he got readings after 5 min and 10 min on both arcade and violent games. He found HR increased across the board (no surprise) but systolic (average) decreased and diastolic increased after 5 min and decreased after 10 for both games. Beginner players showed a greater difference. Why? Also, do you think video games are hazardous to you cardio health?
