Video games are taking over my boyfriends?

i am a 21 year old girl my boyfriend is 22 we've been dating for a year and a half, and lately video games are ruining our relationship, all we fight about are video games, he plays as soon as he gets off work for 6 hours straight. hes into rpg's such as fable 2 sacred 2 and diablo, and gets so into them that he says he cant stop, i need to know how to ween him off because he doesnt want to stop playing, i've talked to him before and he says hes trying to shorten his game time, but he still thinks about the games and talks about the games he wishes to buy and play, whenever i say he cant play them he acts depressed and i feel like im doing wroung, Help
