Victim of theft

Well I am now a victim of theft. I kept my trailer stored at my buddies shop in a rural industrial area. I had all my track gear in it, minus my main tool box and ducati leathers. Worst of the theft is my tool box base on rollers that was a gift from my wife, part B to that is that the oem bolts, clutch, and slip-ons, stm quick change sprockets, oem rearsets, along with some small stuff were in the tool box. I also lost my generator. Thank God my bike is at my buddies right now being prepped for next year. I will make a report, and will be checking all pawn shops in that area, as well as market place ads, bvut I suspect I will not see this stuff again. I have a feeling that inside knowledge led to the theft as it was too cleanly done. I will no longer trust anyone outside my circle, and all valuable stuff will stay in my house even if it means sleeping beside a generator in my house! This is the downfall to not having a garage and living in a condo complex. Time to save up, and sell our condo, and get a single house. I hope these fuckers smoke crack til they fry their brains! If anyone has leads to getting a complete 1098/848 hardware give me a shout. I know they sometimes come up on ebay.

OH man that totally blows!!!!! I would be

As if it's not hard enough for the average working guy to go racing, this is the last thing anyone needs!

I had my house broken into a year or so ago and they got off with about $5K in stuff. Everything from baseball cards to watches, cell phones, NIB car cd player, etc.

Worst feeling ever, I'm sorry to hear it!

Worst yet is the cop that called me today that was going to investigate makes an accusation that "I am beating around the bush" when in attempting to answer one of his questions after being awake for almost 24hrs. I didn't curse him out but I definately lost my cool with him. He couldn't wrap his head around the fact that 1-2 weeks ago I had used the trailer to transport my bike to a friends garage to work on then brought the trailer back to where I store it. He wanted the exact day I moved the trailer. I said I don't know the exact day, it was about two weeks ago, I kept the trailer overnight on the street, then took it back to the industrial park the next day (round trip over 100kms, so two trips). He says " why are you not answering my questions, why are you beating around the bush" Man I saw red! I effin work extra shifts as I am doing right now to afford to buy shit and play, and this guy basically accuses me of fraud. You can't win anymore. I almost told him to not bother investigating if that was his attitude! But then I would lose all chances of getting anuthing back.

Man, that SUCKS! and we are hearing it waaaaay to often here. I use a buddy's garage but with 3 Ducks I can't keep them all there so I know what a hassle it is when you don't have your own safe place to keep your shit. Good luck in your recovery and take some solace in knowing there is a special place in HELL for bike and car theives and I think the place reserved for helmet and equipment thieves is even worse!

Well to update the cost of the theft, I am rather quite surprised. I initially thought it was 3-4k Can $ max, but now that I have been using the ducati parts look-up I am at $4900US dollars not counting the other stuff I lost which brings it up to $6900Can tax in. If you you guys don't have your trailer and contents insured, with pictures of everything, then do it! I have been trying to go by memory, and it took three days of things popping in to my head once and awhile to get a full list. I was thinking in ebay value not actual replacement cost, so I was way under in estimation. From now on I will have covergage for everything. I just found Jones Brown Motorsport Insurance: has anyone dealt with these guys?
