I was sitting at the light and a car ran into the back of my car...witnesses and the other driver both admitted to who was at fault, the other driver. However, I did not have the correct tags on my car.
I recently lost my job and did not have money to spend $110 to take my car through vehicle inspections and to purchase the new decal for my tags. But I had to drive the car because I have two small children who's daycares are on opposite sides of town.
Now, my car is jacked up (both my and the other driver's insurance will cover the damages), but I wanted to know if i sued the other driver, would my case be thrown out because of the faulty tags on my car?
