Hi, I found a college that I really really want to attend to become a veterinary technician, but the deadline for application submission has passed, PLUS it is required to have a minimum of 80 hours of work experience in an animal shelter or preferably a vet clinic (which I don't have).
Should I take a year off and try to work in a veterinary clinic/office before going back to school? I was thinking of working part-time in a vet office/clinic and maybe going part-time to school for art (if I can take an art program for one year)??
