Last night as I was getting dressed, my hand brushed past the top of my right thigh (joining my groin) and I noticed it was quite painful, and very swollen.
I went to the docs today, & she sent me for an ultrasound.
They found that 7 of my lymph nodes were very swollen on the left, and about 4 slightly swollen on the right. She mentioned I may need a biopsy, depending on what the docs see from the ultrasound images.
Ive been stressing all day about the ultrasound results, considering cancer has a nasty past with my family, & I just have no idea what it could actually be.
My mind keeps going straight to cancer, but I want to believe it can be something else, but have no clue what??
It is only painful when I apply pressure to the area, otherwise I never would have noticed it! There are no open sores or cuts, no rashes, no itching. Just painful, swollen glands under the skin.
Does anyone have any information on this topic for me??
