Very Strange feeling in head and back.

For the last 3 days, i feel like i have, for lack of a better way of explaining it, power surges. Starts at base of neck, goes to forehead, and sometimes into the back region. When it happens, I get a little dizzy, but nothing major. Never experienced anything like this before. I notice it worsens when I walk, especially if I turn my head. Any ideas?
 
It may help if you can explain if these "power surges" involve any type of pain, nurabness, heat or cold sensations, etc. See your medical doctor if it continues, or concerns you.

As a different way to look at this, you could also consult someone who does acupuncture or some of version of Traditional Chinese Medicine - as the symptoms sound somewhat like those involving the meridians (energetic pathways) in the body. It's difficult to translate that to regular medical doctors - unless they have training in this arena. As to this problem becoming worse with turning the head - that may also have to do with the muscular attachments from beneath the shoulder blade - extending over to the upper spine & into the neck.

Any nuraber of things can be the trigger for that - from new or old injuries, to overuse & repetitive motion stress - such as spending alot of time at the computer! It may be that you need to stretch out the whole body & take more breaks & it will resolve some of symptoms - but it's difficult to say for sure, without having some evaluation done of course.
