VERY SLOW WIRELESS INTERNET SPEED ! ?

For the past couple of days my internet speed has dropped down so low and many times wont work . I am connected to a wireless internet connection, so is my sister laptop but her internet speed is a lot faster than mine.Each month i am given Up to 500GB broadband data - then speed limited to 256kbps. I have ran a couple of scans for viruses and spyware etc and found a couple and were removed.The thing is that when i connect my router to my actually laptop its back to my normal speed but once its using the wireless internet it becomes very slow.
how can i fix this problem?

* Check your connection wiring

* Check your Start up menu and remove the unwanted
* Uninstall or remove unwanted softwares and programs
