very lethargic

Hi,

I have had this problem for some time and was wondering if anyone can offer any advice. I am only 20 years old but feel quite lethargic and tired most of the time (and I feel that it is not natural for me to feel this tired at this age). Some times I just feel too tired to do active things and go out, but some days it is really bad and I feel really dizzy and weak - it feels dream-like or sometimes like I am intoxicated. I am not obese I am of a thin/athletic build. I have been to my doctors about this and he could only offer gems of wisdom like 'maybe you need more sleep' or 'maybe it's your diet'. I had a blood test but it came back normal, I think my blood pressure was also normal. I am convinced it could be something to do with iron as my mother is anaemic, but my uncle has a blood condition and suffers lethargy because his blood is too rich in iron. Can any one offer any advice as to what could cause this?

Thanks!

Hi,

A friend had started drinking Kombucha Tea for getting rid of gray hair but found that it increased his energy level greatly. His mood also improved much. Kombucha Tea is available in organic and health food stores.

Hope this helps.

Have you been sick otherwise?

I ask this because you sound a lot like me. I'm 18, and I was sick for a month and a half with various problems...What seemed to be a cold, bronchitis, maybe pneumonia, and on and on and on. I also had a blood test which came back normal, but I was super lethargic for probably about a month. I slept at least as much as I was awake, and for a good 2 weeks, definitely more. I just didn't have the energy to do anything.

It took time, but I did get better, so maybe it was like my doctor said, a really bad adenovirus which would take time to go away.
