I'm trying to set my T3 to send and receive email via my Nokia 6100 infrared from/to my virgin.net account.
I have loaded all the details into the T3, smtp, pop, username, password etc but each time I try to get mail it says "dialing windows RAS", then an error box please check your network settings" I've tried all the names in that network box, to no avail.
Can anyone help?
 
It sounds like Virgin needs RAS (Remote Access Service) available to access your mail. As far as I know, VersaMail has no way to use RAS or a PPP connection. You should contact Virgin to find out if they have a method that allows non-RAS capable machines to access mail.
