Hi all,

I know this is a Treo 650 problem, but I wonder if you can help on this.

I cannot send email using this software and my btinternet/yahoo or wanadoo account.

I have tried checking/unchecking all combinations of ssl and authentication. I have also changed my port from 25 to 587, as suggested by yahoo help.

Have you tried IMAP and Pop3 configuration and leave the port to those defaults?


I'm not certain that you can use SSL on a IMAP enabled service but I have sent emails out over MSN without SSL but that's a totally different configuration.
 
I should have trusted the treo e-mail wizard settings.
It seems that for all the e-mail accounts I was setting up, there is a standard service provider (vodafone) smtp server - smtp.vodafone.net.

got this sorted on the way home from work. thanks for the comments tho'
