Verizon Wireless trade in program?

If I trade in my Motorola Droid X using the Verizon Wireless trade in program would I be able to purchase a new phone on upgrade price. IE $199 not $599? I need to know if trading in your device makes you eligible for an upgrade price. I purchased my Droid X in September and it is in perfect condition.
