Verizon Wireless Question, Swapping Phones?

Alright, currently I am in a 2 year contract with Verizon Wireless, I'm probably a solid year into the contract, but am wanting to get a new Blackberry. Am I allowed to go into the store and buy just the phone from them and they can swap all the contacts and everything? Or could I say go on eBay by one and have them swap everything?
 
Yes you can and they allowed that, but because you are still under contract, they will make you ay the full price for the Blackberry, rund about 400$ or more depends. You are better off just buying one on Ebay used and then ask them to swap the phone for you.
