I have the Glyde from Verizon Wireless. I really don't like it at all. It turns off randomly, the touch screen isn't very good, it runs out of battery if I text to much (which i text a lot), and it pretty much just sucks all around. I get so mad with it that i almost broke it once. I have had to take it to the Verizon store many (like 3) times before. I also have heard it's the most returned phone from Verizon. I have had the phone for almost a year. I do not want to wait 1 more year. Can i take it back and get a new one?

verizon is usually very stubborn on things like that. I have had to deal with them a few times b4, but if you ague with them they usaually will avoid conflict. Offer to trade your phone in for another phone around the same price.
good luck =)

If you take it back the store will give you the Glyde Refresh, which is the Glyde ofcourse, but it a newer and better version of the Glyde released by Samsung. It has new software, the touch screen is said to work better on the refresh and it just recently released not too long ago. If you went to the store, that is what they would give you.

If you call Customer Care, they would be able to do the same thing, but they would also be able to look to see if you qualify for what we call a Multi Fru ( which basically means your phone has been replaced a certain amount of times). If you meet the requirement, they would then be able to give you a BRAND NEW phone, for free, of equal or lesser value that is comparable to your phone, such as the Voyager or you can get another Glyde(for example), BUT your upgrade date would push back for 20 more months, not making you eligible to get a new phone until 20 months from the day you order the new phone.

You would have to call and check to see if you qualify for the multi fru, but those are pretty much your options. If you want a different phone that is not comparable to your Glyde, your looking at paying full retail price if purchased from VZW, if your purchase from a 3rd party make sure you find out everything about that phone to make sure you'll be able to use it.

Also, if you argue with any rep, trust me, it will just make it harder for you to get what you want. From my experience, I am more willing to help someone who is nice to me rather than help someone who wants to get loud and argue.
