Verizon wireless phone charging problem?

i have the xv8300 for verizon and the charger is all messed up i have to twist and turn in just to get the phone to charge and when it is charging for like 5 hours i pull out the charger and it has blinking bars signaling the battery is low. what the feck. pic of phone http://www.pflugersat.com/phone4sale/images/manufacturers/vx8300.jpg

it sounds like either the charger port or the charger connector itself is messed up. Get a new one and try it out.
