verizon wireless holders: should i get htc incredible or droid x?

i want to get my first smartphone for verizon. im either getting the htc incredible or droid x. i can't find a website to see if there are phones coming out in january so im going to get either one of these two.

any input on these phones? they are getting identical ratings
