Verizon Wireless EnV2 Problems; Help?

Okay, so my phone can make & recieve calls. I can also send text messages, but it doesn't show if the message was recieved & I can't get text messages. I have already updated my software, taken the battery out & had my friends tell me if they got my texts. Any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time!
