Verizon Wireless and Virgin Mobile:on the go phones!?

I have a Verizon wireless pay as you go phone(razr V3) and im going to get a Virgin Mobile x-tc today. and i wanted to know if its possible that i can have the same number from my verizon phone onto my new virgin mobile phone. If it is possible, how can i do this online. :) thanks in advance :)
