I recently picked up a Samsung Alas 2 phone and set it up, finding out had to get the $9.99 data plan to use it. Since my monthly bill is cheap anyways I decided to do it. What I want to know is what exactly does this data plan let me do that I otherwise couldn't do? I keep hearing things about downloading x amount of megabytes and whatnot, but that just confuses me more. So what can I do with this data plan, and will it still charge me extra to use any said features?
