I am looking to get a new phone but can not decide which company and which phone. I read many reviews on this forum but still cant figure it out. Was hoping someone might have some good advice.

I dont need anything really fancy (unless its free) but I want a phone with a keyboard and good e-mail capabilities.

I currently have verizon and I was just going to get the LG V and then get the E-Mail Executive program to use with G-Mail. But then I was thinking bout getting a PDA phone. Only problem is I do not know enough about them.

I know Cingular has that LG F9200 which seems nice, but I do not know enough about the phone. Or The Treo 700 or one of the other Pocket PC phones.

I live in the east coast (virginia) so I need a phone that works well in that area.

I just want a good full-featured phone that is of good quality and the company should be good too.

Any recomendations anyone?

Thank You

You don't want anything fancy, but you want a PDA phone?

Seriously, as far as coverage goes you should be OK with any of the major providers. Sterling is in the greater Washington, DC area, right?

If you must have a keyboard, the Treo 650 would be a good choice (for Verizon, Cingular, or Sprint), and would be cheaper than the 700. Unless you really have to have Windows Mobile, I might go with that. The HTC 8125 from Cingular also has a nice keyboard, as does the LG F9200 you mentioned - but I don't know much about that phone, either.

When it comes to choosing a provider, figure out which features you need most and check to see who is going to meet your needs. Do you need Rollover? Is it more important for you to have free incoming text messages? How much data access do you need? etc, etc.

Cingular would probably give you the largest selection of phones with QWERTY keyboards. If you want to stick with Verizon, I'd probably go with one of the Treos or the Samsung SCH-i730. This looks like a very versatile phone to me, though I've never used it.

I purchased my POWERHOUSE from David Weiniger(MadMonkeyBoy) and im using a cingular choice of service provider.Which where im @ cingular is the only place that gets strong coverage.I would check the maps of each individual provider of cell phone services. But the same phones you are talking about getting are the same ones David sells (Except for the treos)...
